Our Summer Term Journey
Our topic this half term is 'Monkey Puzzle' and will be focus on growing.
We have had a very busy week in Nursery this week!
We have had a visit from some ducklings:
We have picked some dandelions, daisies and leaves. The children decided to put them in containers of water then put them in the freezer. The next day the children explored the ice and observed how it melted.
We have planted some cress seeds and some sunflower seeds. We talked about what we need to do to help them grow. The children were able to tell Miss Watmough that the seeds needed water and sun to grow. We put the planted seeds in the classroom near the window so we could watch them grow.
The cress and sunflowers have started to grow!
We have been using blocks to measure the cress, sunflowers, pictures of beanstalks and other items in our Nursery.
