Welcome to Tadpoles, a happy, caring and nurturing place where your little one can learn, play, explore and grow.

Our nursery is a special place for children aged 2 years and up, where every child is encouraged to discover the world around them at their own pace. We believe that the best learning happens through play, curiosity, creativity and lots of fun!

 A Home Away From Home

We understand that starting nursery is a big step — for your child and for you. That’s why we create a warm, welcoming environment where children feel safe, loved, valued and listened to.

From their very first day, our friendly team will take the time to get to know your child, their personality, interests and individual needs. We work closely with families to make settling in as gentle and positive as possible.

At two years old, everything is an adventure!

Our children have plenty of opportunities to:

• 📚 Enjoy stories, songs and rhymes
• 🧩  Develop problem-solving skills through games and activities
• 🌳 Explore the outdoors and discover nature
• 🏃 Build confidence through physical play

• 🤝 Make friends and learn to play together
• ⭐ Become more independent and confident

Every day brings something new to discover, with activities planned around children’s interests and stages of development.

We want every child who comes through our doors to feel proud of who they are.

Our experienced and caring staff provide encouragement, comfort and plenty of positive support, helping children develop confidence, independence and a love of learning that will stay with them as they grow.

Important Information

Please ensure your child comes to Nursery with:

• A spare pair of clothes. 
• Nappies and wipes if needed.
• A warm coat in winter and a sun hat in summer.
• A pair of wellies for when it rains.
• In summer please ensure your child comes to nursery with sun cream on.
